Wai Eco Resort
A six-cottage eco-resort on Wai Island, a coral atoll 2 hours from Sorong with no internet, no phone, and no television. Named dive sites include Wai Wall, an Airplane Wreck, and access to Manta Point Mansuar by excursion.
Wai Eco Resort occupies Wai Island, a coral atoll of roughly 2 km in circumference in Raja Ampat. The island has no phone, no internet, and no television — a deliberate position rather than a limitation, and one that suits guests who want to be genuinely off-grid. There are six cottages in total, which means the resort rarely feels crowded and books out quickly.

Facilities
Restaurant is available to serve buffet style meals on long tables. The over-water restaurant offers an exquisite traditional Indonesian cuisine with stunning ocean view. The tasty dishes are made of local fresh ingredients and beers are available to buy.
Dive centre in Wai Eco Resort provides all necessary equipments and diving materials, including 12 litre aluminium tanks with interchangeable DIN-INT valve. Many dive sites around the resort to explore, including Wai Wall, Nikson Reef, Marti Garden, Miano Reef, Pulau Kri, Airplane Wreck, and Damplier Straits with over 6 dive spots. Strategic location of Wai Eco Resort make it possible for the guests to dive in a great number of dive sites all year around.
Excursions to Manta Point Mansuar, The Passage, Fam Island, and the Batanta Island waterfalls can be arranged for groups of two or more. Manta Point Mansuar is within range for a day trip, making Wai a practical base for guests who want manta encounters without staying at a resort built specifically around them.
Conservation Efforts
Wai Eco Resort runs the Help Raja Ampat Family non-profit, which supports the villages of Kampung Arefi and Kampung Baru with food, medical supplies, malaria prevention, and school materials.
With only six cottages, Wai books out quickly. Ask us about availability before committing to flights.
