The Superior Water Cottage is a slightly smaller version of the Deluxe Water Cottage at 55 sq m (592 sq ft) of which there are only 2 units available.

Papua Explorers was entirely constructed of local materials and wood for sustainability. The water bungalows are very spacious with around 70 square meters each and are decorated in traditional Indonesian style. They have all the amenities you might expect as well as a beautiful terrace with steps down into the ocean.

There are scheduled transfers between airport and Papua Explorers Resort every Sunday and Wednesday. Beginning 1st January 2024, this transfer is chargeable at 200EUR per person.
Tariff to Support Environmental Services in Raja Ampat
All visitors to Raja Ampat must pay an annual marine park entrance fee. The fee is IDR 1,000,000 per person (IDR 500,000 for Indonesian nationals) and is valid for 12 months. Your resort will assist in collecting the fees from you and channel the funds to the relevant authority. The fee is not included in the package price.
Single travellers
Single supplement is compulsory for single travellers.
Children and infants
Children less than 10 years of age sharing their parents' room (triple occupancy) receive 50% off the package rate. This replaces the standard triple occupancy discount, which does not apply when the third occupant is a child in this age bracket.
Dive, Free Diving and Snorkel Packages
The dive package rates shown above is for 3 boat dives per day (excluding arrival and departure day) and unlimited house reef dives. There are other dive package options available that is more leisurely.
Snorkelling packages are also available.
