Getting to Papua Explorers Eco Resort
Papua Explorer Resort is located on Guam Island and the nearest airport is the Domine Eduard Osok Airport located in the city of Sorong.
The resort pick up point is at the airport. Scheduled boat transfers in and out of the resort are only available on Wednesdays and Sundays. Other unscheduled boat transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
Arrival
Arrive Domine Eduard Osok Airport Fly to Domine Eduard Osok Airport in Sorong. Popular routes to Sorong are via Jakarta (CGK-SOQ), Makassar (UPG-SOQ) and Manado (MDC-SOQ). Plan to arrive before 11 a.m. or earlier. Take into account that flight delays are common in this region. Although the resort tries to accommodate late arrivals due to flight delays, it may not always be possible if there are other guests already waiting a while. In case you cannot make it for the scheduled transfers, the resort can provide special transfers at an additional cost.
The resort staff will meet you at the airport and help you with clearance and baggage.
Transfer to Hotel Lobby in Sorong If you arrived in the morning, you will be transferred to a comfortable hotel lobby where complimentary breakfast buffet or lunch are provided.
Boat Transfer to Papua Explorers Eco Resort Depart the jetty at 12 noon. Boat departure may delay slightly in case there are flight delays. The boat journey will take about 2½ to 3 hours.
Departure
For your departure, plan to take the 10:30 a.m. flight or later out of Sorong.
Boat Transfer to Sorong The boat will leave the resort at between 6 a.m. in order to catch the 10:00 a.m. flight.
