Every 11th diver in your group gets to stay at no charge.
What is Included
- Land and sea transfers between Tawau and Mataking Island.
- 3 boat dives daily around Mataking Besar, Mataking Kecil, Pandanan, Bohayan, Kelapuan, Timba Timba Islands and Baturua Reef led by at least one dive guide.
- Unlimited shore buddy dives.
- Air, weights and weight belt.
- Accommodation is based on twin and triple share.
- All food and hot beverages are provided, excluding alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and carbonated soft drinks.
Notes
Diving at Sipadan Island
If you want to dive at Sipadan Island, there is an additional fee for the boat transfers between Mataking Island and Sipadan Island.
The transfer fee ranges from MYR 370 to MYR 1,340 per person excluding SST, depending on the number of guests on the boat. However, for group bookings of 6 divers or more with a minimum stay of 5 days 4 nights with the same arrival and departure time, your group will be entitled for a complimentary one day transfer to and from Sipadan Island. Entry permits to Sipadan Island is subject to approval by Sabah Parks.
Entry Permits to Sipadan Island
Sipadan permits are not included in the package price. The Malaysian Government has imposed a levy charge per person per day for divers who are diving at Sipadan Island as well as for non-divers and children, and this is paid separately as an additional charge. Permits are subject to availability and daily quotas set by Sabah Parks, so we recommend booking your Sipadan permit as early as possible.
Peak season surcharge
There is a 5% surcharge on the package price when you visit during the peak season. The peak season is applicable for Chinese New Year; the month of July and August; and the Golden Week Holidays that starts from 1st to 7th October.
Single travellers
Single travellers must add single supplement, an additional 30% of the dive package. If there are no other guests to meet the minimum transfer requirement, an additional RM 250 per coach way and RM 918 per boat way will be levied.
Children and infants
There is a special rate for non-diving children sharing rooms with parents. The rate is:
- Infants aged 0 to 2 years stay at no charge.
- Children aged 3 to 12 years pay 50% of the non-diver rate.
Children who hold a diving certification pay the full adult diver rate regardless of age.
Babysitting service is available at an hourly rate.
