Rates for Maratua Seaview Resort

Packages include accommodation and full board. Land and sea transfers from Tanjung Redeb are included for bookings of 4 persons or more; smaller groups incur an additional transfer fee. Stays of 5 nights or more include day trips to Kakaban Island, Sangalaki Island, and The Channel; shorter stays can add these sites at a per-boat surcharge. Every 8th person in a group stays free, and groups of 8 or more also get a complimentary Talisayan Whale Shark trip.

Travel period is from Monday, 1 January 2024 to Wednesday, 31 December 2025. The base currency for this resort is in USD US Dollar.

Group Discounts

Every 8th person in your group stays at no charge. Groups of 8 or more persons also receive the Talisayan Whale Shark trip at no extra charge.

What is Included

  • 3 boat dives daily around Maratua Island except on arrival and departure days.
  • For a stay of 5 nights or more, 1 trip to Kakaban Island including 2 dives and snorkelling at the jellyfish lake during surface interval; 1 trip to Sangalaki Island including 2 dives; and 1 dive at The Channel (also known as Big Fish Country).
  • Air, weights and weight belt.
  • Accommodation is based on twin share.
  • All food and hot beverages are provided, excluding alcoholic drinks and carbonated soft drinks. Food is predominantly seafood. On the check-in day, only dinner is included; on the check-out day, only breakfast is included.
  • Land and sea transfers between Tanjung Redeb and Maratua Island for bookings of a minimum 4 persons. Bookings below this number incur an additional transfer fee.

Dive location depends your duration of stay.

For 4 days 3 nights stay, your dive locations will be located within Maratua only.

For 5 days 4 nights stay, destinations include Maratua, Sangalaki and Kakaban islands.

For longer duration of stay, destinations include Maratua, Sangalaki, Kakaban islands and Karang Muaras.

Notes

Entrance Fee to Kakaban Island

IDR10,000 per person to be paid separately in cash and in local currency at the resort. This fee goes towards the local community volunteers who keep the area in good condition.

Boat and Land Transfers

Land and sea transfers between Tanjung Redeb and Maratua Seaview Resort are included in the package for bookings of a minimum 4 persons. For bookings below 4 persons, an additional transfer fee applies.

Meals on Arrival and Departure Days

On the day of check-in, only dinner is included. On the day of check-out, only breakfast is included.

Single travellers

Single travellers occupying a twin or double villa alone pay a 30% surcharge on the twin-share package price. There is also a surcharge for boat and land transfers based on the minimum 2 person price if there is no one else going into and out of Maratua Seaview Resort.

Children

Children aged 1 to 9 years stay and dive at no charge. Children aged 10 to 13 years pay 50% of the non-diver rate.
