Package rates include accommodation and full board but not the land and sea transfers from Tanjung Redeb, which are arranged and priced separately. Day trips to Kakaban Island, Sangalaki Island, and The Channel each carry a per-person surcharge; factor these into your total budget before committing. Groups of 6 or more staying at least 7 nights get every sixth diver's accommodation at no charge.
Travel period is from Sunday, 1 January 2023 to Wednesday, 31 December 2025. The base currency for this resort is in USD US Dollar.
8 beach chalets line the beach, each chalet is clean and comfortable, with good closet space, and a small desk and seating area. You can lounge on your bed, or on the balcony where you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the ocean. You can also enjoy the beach from a small gazebo which is shared between two chalets.

10 exotic water villas stand on stilts in the clear water, providing protection from mosquitoes and a cooling breeze. They are accessed by a wooden walkway, which connects them together, and also links them to the rest of the resort. Each contains a comfortable indoor sitting area, as well as the balcony and are spacious and eco-friendly. From the balcony you can enjoy the sea-breeze and spectacular ocean views, you can even see brightly coloured fish swimming beneath you.

Every sixth diver in your group gets to stay at no charge. However, your minimum stay must be at least 7 days / 6 nights.

The Channel (also known as Big Fish Country) dive site
There is a surcharge of USD63 per person per trip per dive for divers wanting to dive The Channel.
Diving Kakaban Island
There is a surcharge of USD63 per person per trip for divers wanting to dive Kakaban Island.
Diving Sangalaki Island
There is a surcharge of USD84 per person per trip for divers wanting to visit Sangalaki Island.
Diving Derawan Island
There is a surcharge of USD116 per person per trip for divers wanting to visit Derawan Island.
Entrance Fee to Kakaban Island
The Indonesian Government has imposed an entrance fee of Rp 25,000 per person per day for visitors to Kakaban Island. The entrance fee is to be paid separately at the resort as it is not included in the package price.
Entry Permits to Sangalaki Island
The Indonesian Government has imposed a levy charge of Rp 65,000 per diver per day and Rp 55,000 per non-diver per day for visitors to Sangalaki Island. The levy is to be paid separately at the resort as it is not included in the package price.
Single travellers
Single travellers must book single occupancy accommodation. Where there is no one else travelling into and out of Maratua Paradise Resort with you, land and boat transfers are charged at the two-person rate, a supplement of USD560 in total (USD36 return airport transfer and USD244 return boat transfer, each doubled).
Children
There is a special rate for non-diving children sharing a room with parents on a triple-share basis. The child should be under 12 years of age and the rate is 50% off the non-diver rate plus 10% Indonesian tax for accommodation. Car and boat transfers for children are charged at the full adult rate. Children staying in a separate twin or double room are charged the full adult non-diver rate plus the full adult transfer rate.
