What is Included
- Round trip boat transfers between Semporna and MV Celebes Explorer 9. (exclude land transfers)
- Twin-share ensuite accommodation with air-conditioning cabin.
- Semporna Jetty fee and Sipadan diving permit.
- 3 boat dives daily except for embarkation & disembarkation day.
- Use of tanks, weight & weight belt.
- Use of dive equipment (shortie, BCD, regulator, full foot fins, mask and snorkel) excluding dive computer and torch light.
- All meals and beverages, excluding alcoholic and canned/bottled drinks, which could be purchased on board.
- Asian & local buffet meals.
- In consideration of our local Muslim staff working on board, we do not serve pork dishes. There will be no cooking of pork in the kitchen as a good gesture.
What is Included for charter bookings
For charter bookings, in addition to the above, we also include:
- One time return car transfer between Tawau Airport and Semporna.
- One dive around Mabul Island after diving at Sipadan Island, except one day before disembarkation day.

4 Days 3 Nights Cruise (Tuesday - Friday)
Tuesday: meet at our office in Semporna at 3 p.m. Our transfer boat would depart for the liveaboard from Semporna at 3:30 p.m.
Check into liveaboard; briefing; leisure time; dinner; overnight. No diving on day 1.
Wednesday: 3 dives in Sipadan. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight.
Thursday: 3 dives in Sipadan. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight. Note Number of dives depend on your flight time on next day. Bear in mind requirement for 24 hours surface interval before flight on next day.
Friday: check out at 6:00 a.m. if the liveaboard is in Mabul; or check out at 8:30 a.m. if the liveaboard is in Semporna. Boat transfer to Semporna jetty.
5 Days 4 Nights Cruise (Friday - Tuesday)
Friday: meet at our office in Semporna at 3 p.m. Our transfer boat would depart for the liveaboard from Semporna at 3:30 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday: 3 dives in Sipadan. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight.

Notes
Entry Permits to Sipadan Island: The Sipadan entry permit of RM140.00 MYR (about $34 USD) per person per day is included in the package price.
Semporna Jetty Fee: The Local Government collects a Semporna jetty fee of MYR10.00 MYR (about $3 USD) per person per tour booking for International travellers; and MYR2.00 MYR per person per tour booking for Malaysians.
Diving at Sipadan Island: MV Celebes Explorer 9 holds permit allocation for all guests on board to dive Sipadan on every full diving day of the cruise. On Sundays, the vessel returns to Semporna to replenish supplies.
Diving Restrictions in the Area: Currently it is prohibited to dive between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. for safety reasons.
Single travellers: Single travellers who do not want to share a cabin with another diver can opt for a single cabin. Single cabin rates are published separately for each itinerary rather than calculated as a flat percentage; for example, the 4 Days 3 Nights cruise lists a single rate of RM7,600 against RM5,400 per person twin/double/share. Check the rates table for your chosen itinerary for the exact single cabin price.
If you are triple sharing the room, there is a special rate for the 3rd person.
Children and infants: There is a special rate for non-diving children sharing rooms with parents. The child should be below 12 years of age. Diving children will be charged as adult divers.
Non-diving children staying in separate cabin from the parents will be charged as non-diving adults.
We don't recommend bringing infants onboard MV Celebes Explorer 9.
Gear Rental: You will need to book and pay in advance if you need to rent gear. The rental gear is located in Semporna and not stored onboard MV Celebes Explorer 9.
Charter: You can charter the whole boat at very competitive rates. Maximum 16 persons. The charter rate is equivalent to 14.5 times the individual diver rate.
